About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain professional relationships with physicians, hospital staff, physicians’ office staff, and other personnel
- Test, clean, and sterilize equipment in the operating room before procedures
- Be present in the operating room during procedures, with involvement subject to physician demands
- Remove, clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical equipment after procedures
- Communicate equipment defects or necessary maintenance to key stakeholders in a timely manner
- Ensure operational excellence of vehicles and equipment
- Transport equipment to ensure it is in the right place at the right time for procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior medical, EMT, Surgical Technologist, or military experience preferred
- Must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted driver’s license
- Must have a safe driving record based on Agiliti policies
- Must be able to lift up to eighty pounds and push or pull up to one hundred pounds
- Must be able to stand and/or sit for long periods of time
- Must be able to bend and reach repeatedly
- Must be able to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, and stand for long periods of time
- May be required to obtain certain vaccinations or provide proof of current vaccination status
