About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the new hire onboarding experience end-to-end, from offer acceptance through the first 90 days
- Coordinate onboarding logistics across Fremont, Salem, and Pittsburgh offices and the remote team with IT, Facilities, and Recruiting
- Maintain and improve new hire orientation, first-week schedules and activities, and buddy programs
- Plan and support company events, including offsites, family days, summits, and holiday parties
- Manage vendors, budgets, timelines, and day-of event logistics
- Manage day-to-day HRIS administration, employee data changes, and records accuracy
- Support HR systems, documentation, and workflows
- Identify ways to simplify processes and improve the employee experience
- Collaborate with team members on ad hoc projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1–3 years of experience in People Operations or a related role
- BA/BS degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Experience administering an HRIS platform, processing employee data changes, and maintaining data integrity
- Enthusiasm for onboarding and a creative mindset for improving engaging and welcoming programs
- Experience planning team events and creating engaging team experiences
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple moving pieces
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information
- Proficiency in Google Suite
- Authorization to work in the USA
- Bonus: experience with Workday
- Bonus: familiarity with federal and state leave of absence requirements
- Bonus: experience in a fast-paced startup, manufacturing, or robotics environment
