About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support day-to-day tasks within the AHEAD Foundry Engineering group
Complete tasks assigned by the Engineering Technician Manager or Product Engineer Manager
Work within Excel workbooks
Request quotes from vendors and provide formal estimates for products and services
Create item and part numbers within AHEAD Foundry’s intranet system
Create and maintain engineering work instructions
Create and maintain BOMs
Review Engineering Change Orders
Triage production tickets and provide production support as needed
Execute performance/benchmark testing
Maintain documentation for work instructions
Perform other assigned tasks

Requirements

What you’ll need

0-2 years of experience creating and working with product and service quotes
2+ years of experience with Linux and Windows Operating Systems
0-2 years of experience building and integrating computer components into systems
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Excellent communication and listening skills
Ability to work closely with technical resources and other AHEAD staff
Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills
Experience in engineering change process
Proven technical acuity and problem-solving abilities
Understanding of quality control and computer assembly methods
Basic understanding of computer architecture and server hardware components
Proven experience in risk management
Proven experience in change management
