About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support day-to-day tasks within the AHEAD Foundry Engineering group
  • Complete tasks assigned by the Engineering Technician Manager or Product Engineer Manager
  • Work within Excel workbooks
  • Request quotes and provide formal estimates for products and services
  • Create item and part numbers within AHEAD Foundry’s intranet system
  • Create and maintain Engineering work instructions
  • Create and maintain bills of materials (BOMs)
  • Review Engineering Change Orders
  • Triage production tickets
  • Execute performance and benchmark testing
  • Provide production support as needed
  • Maintain documentation for work instructions
  • Perform other assigned tasks

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 0-2 years of experience creating and working with product and service quotes
  • 2+ years of experience with Linux and Windows Operating Systems
  • 0-2 years of experience building and integrating computer components into systems
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Ability to work closely with technical resources and other AHEAD staff
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills
  • Experience in engineering change process
  • Proven technical acuity and problem-solving abilities
  • Understanding of quality control and computer assembly methods
  • Basic understanding of computer architecture and server hardware components
  • Proven experience in risk management
  • Proven experience in change management
