About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the marketing strategy and operating model for AHEAD's security partner portfolio
- Develop annual and quarterly partner marketing strategies aligned with business priorities, sales objectives, solution areas, and partner growth opportunities
- Establish partner segmentation and investment strategies
- Translate joint growth priorities into actionable partner marketing plans
- Lead annual partner MOU planning, negotiation, activation, and performance management
- Translate MOU commitments into measurable marketing plans and execution roadmaps
- Track partner commitments, funding, utilization, performance, and outstanding obligations
- Establish quarterly business reviews and recommend adjustments
- Own MDF strategy and governance, including planning, approvals, utilization, tracking, reimbursement, and reporting
- Allocate MDF to programs with clear objectives and measurable return
- Monitor MDF utilization and identify unused, underutilized, or at-risk funding
- Lead integrated marketing plans connecting partner investments to campaigns, field programs, events, summits, digital programs, and solution initiatives
- Develop multi-partner and ecosystem campaigns
- Establish KPIs and reporting standards
- Measure investment utilization, pipeline influence, sourced pipeline, engagement, target-account penetration, net-new logos, and ROI
- Develop executive dashboards and quarterly partner marketing business reviews
- Advise leadership on increasing, reducing, or redirecting partner marketing investments
- Create playbooks, processes, and best practices
- Foster collaboration across Partner Marketing, Field Marketing, Events, Campaigns, Digital, Alliances, Sales, Finance, and Marketing Operations
- Manage and develop a team of Partner Marketing Managers
- Monitor KPIs including MDF utilization, MOU attainment, pipeline, ROI, plan execution, stakeholder satisfaction, and team development
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 10+ years of B2B marketing experience
- Significant experience in security, cybersecurity, or IT infrastructure partner, channel, alliance, or ecosystem marketing
- Experience managing MDF, co-marketing funds, partner investments, or similar funding programs
- Strong understanding of partner business planning, joint marketing plans, and MOU or contractual marketing commitments
- Demonstrated ability to manage significant marketing investments with financial discipline and accountability
- Experience developing integrated marketing strategies across events, field marketing, campaigns, digital, and demand generation
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate marketing performance into executive-level insights
- Executive communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills
- Ability to operate across Marketing, Sales, Alliances, Finance, Operations, and external partner organizations
- Preferred: cybersecurity industry and complex security partner-ecosystem experience
- Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance and safely travel to offices and/or client work sites as required
- Ability to work at customer sites or in data center environments
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift or move equipment up to 50 pounds
- Ability to use hands and fingers to operate objects, tools, or controls
- Ability to hear, listen, and communicate clearly
