About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a caseload of about 10–15 clients, primarily in the field
- Spend approximately 90% of the time at individuals’ job sites
- Teach, assist, and support new workers using demonstration, modeling, counseling, observation, and discussion
- Provide training and support to workers with disabilities
- Assist new workers with travel from home to job sites when needed
- Write detailed service notes after each session to monitor client progress and outcomes
- Initially provide intensive on-site support, gradually fading support as workers become proficient
Requirements
What you’ll need- One year of experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
- Direct Support Professional (DSP) experience a plus
- Flexibility in work hours and ability to respond to scheduling needs
- Teaching or mentoring experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent customer service and client-facing experience
- Strong case note writing and documentation skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- High school diploma or GED
- Schedule flexibility is required
- Ability to work 40 hours per week
