About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain actuarial models
  • Solve complex issues using technical and business skills and various techniques
  • Understand the regulatory environment and standards required for product development and financial reporting
  • Collaborate with senior actuarial professionals to deliver solutions that drive value for Corebridge Financial and its customers
  • Properly document work in accordance with Corebridge Financial and actuarial standards
  • Further actuarial development while contributing to overall business goals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, or another quantitative field
  • Completion of three or more SOA exams and three VEEs
  • 2+ years of actuarial work experience
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Access and Excel
  • Programming skills in SAS, Visual Basic, SQL, or C++ highly preferred
  • Experience with modeling software required
  • Willingness to work in one of Corebridge Financial’s hub locations: Houston, Texas; Woodland Hills, California; or Jersey City, New Jersey
  • Ability to work under a hybrid working policy
  • May include up to 25% estimated travel
