About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in AIG’s 24-month Data Analyst Program
- Complete three 8-month rotations in Technical Foundations, Data Management and Governance, and Business Insights
- Work directly with business partners to understand needs, gather, manipulate, and analyze data
- Deliver digestible insights that drive business decisions
- Develop business intelligence reporting and visualizations
- Support data architecture design and delivery, including data profiling, data model design, and ontology design
- Develop cloud-based data pipelines to collect, manage, and transform raw data
- Follow code, data quality, security, and compliance standards
- Support data management and governance across the information lifecycle
- Graduate into a full-time role within AIG’s Data Office
- Build knowledge of AIG and the insurance industry through on-the-job experiences, masterclasses, mentoring, networking, and volunteering
Requirements
What you’ll need- Student or recent graduate, generally within one year of completing the degree
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree to be received no later than June 2027
- Degree in a STEM major or with STEM coursework in an associated major
- Unofficial transcript required upon application
- Available to start the program on July 26, 2027
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and interpersonal skills
- Positions require working in the office at least four days per week
