About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in AIG’s 24-month Business Intelligence rotation program
  • Complete three 8-month rotations within the Data Office Business Intelligence team
  • Develop knowledge of AIG and the insurance industry through on-the-job experiences and instructor-led masterclasses
  • Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations
  • Transform complex business data into meaningful insights for decision-making
  • Gain exposure to data models, business metrics, KPIs, and semantic layers
  • Analyze enterprise data to identify patterns, opportunities, and business drivers
  • Translate data into actionable recommendations
  • Work with cloud-based analytics ecosystems, data warehouses, and emerging BI technologies
  • Learn governed self-service reporting and analytics
  • Partner with business leaders and users to gather requirements and deliver analytics solutions
  • Explore artificial intelligence, natural language querying, and advanced analytics
  • Collaborate with business partners, data engineers, architects, and analytics professionals
  • Graduate into a full-time role within the Data Office

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Student or recent graduate, generally within one year of completing a degree
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree to be received no later than June 2027
  • Degree in a STEM major or with STEM coursework in an associated major
  • Unofficial transcript required upon application
  • Available to start the program on July 26, 2027
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate effectively, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Demonstrated outstanding academic and extracurricular achievement
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiasm for learning about the insurance industry
