About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in a 24-month data and analytics rotation program with three 8-month rotations
- Develop knowledge of AIG and the insurance industry through on-the-job experiences and instructor-led masterclasses
- Work directly with business partners to understand needs, gather, manipulate, and analyze data
- Deliver digestible insights that drive business decisions
- Develop business intelligence reporting and visualizations
- Support data architecture design and delivery, including data profiling, data model design, and ontology design
- Develop cloud-based data pipelines that collect, manage, and transform raw data
- Adhere to code, data quality, security, and compliance standards
- Support data management and governance across the information lifecycle
- Graduate from the program into a full-time role within the Data Office
Requirements
What you’ll need- Student or recent graduate, generally within one year of completing a degree
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree to be received no later than June 2027
- STEM major or STEM coursework in an associated major
- Unofficial transcript required upon application
- Available to start the program on July 26, 2027
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Demonstrated academic and extracurricular achievement
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and interpersonal skills
