About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain relationships with plan sponsors' executive management and administrative personnel
  • Lead Annual Plan Reviews, including Plan Summary, Legislative Updates, Fund and Investment Overview, and Communication and Education history and opportunities
  • Take a leading role in finalist presentations for regional clients
  • Facilitate plan setup and ongoing plan administration
  • Provide pension-related technical advice and consultation to internal and external clients
  • Partner with Marketing Communications to coordinate and customize participant communications
  • Apply modeling and statistics to identify solutions that drive positive client outcomes
  • Maintain knowledge of current and emerging developments in the retirement space
  • Drive client satisfaction and provide client references for business development
  • Anticipate and fulfill external customer needs and potential problems
  • Ensure Corebridge delivers on service and performance agreements
  • Provide thought leadership to clients and the firm
  • Represent the department on organizational projects and strategic initiatives
  • Coordinate planning, implementation, and monitoring of special projects
  • Develop institutional client case studies and client references annually

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience is preferred in areas of benefits design, compliance, and implementation
  • Pension experience preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or other related field
  • Thorough knowledge of ERISA and succeeding legislation governing qualified pension plan types
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service and customer retention
  • Ability to continually meet and exceed Plan Sponsor and Participant goals
  • Ability to manage multiple institutional client relationships independently
  • Effectiveness in dealing with client organizations, especially top management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex information
  • FINRA SIE, Series 6 and 63 required
  • Appropriate designation such as CEBS or ASPA preferred
