About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead several tier 1 clients as Account Director
Serve as the primary point of contact for mid-to-senior clients
Manage Account Supervisors, Account Managers, and Account Coordinators
Provide feedback, mentorship, coaching, status meetings, and performance check-ins
Delegate work and ensure effective completion of tasks
Help manage internal resources and provide a three-month workflow outlook
Manage and prioritize pitching, planning, and execution across multiple programs and clients
Resolve complex planning challenges with clients
Lead client briefings, internal brainstorms, feasibility assessments, logistical planning, and execution oversight
Own the vision, deck creation, and presentation of activation plans, wrap reports, and pitch decks
Collaborate with creative, design, and strategy teams to deliver work on-plan, on-time, and on-budget
Translate client feedback into actionable work for the team
Set and monitor business-building KPIs and optimize execution strategy
Support organic business development by identifying growth opportunities within the client portfolio
Review and approve program budgets; manage profitability and cash flow; provide monthly reports and forecasts
Define scopes of work for agency resources
Conduct periodic site visits to live executions
Contribute to the agency’s collaborative team culture

Requirements

What you’ll need

9–10+ years of progressive experience in an agency or client-side environment
Experienced at growing and running a team of people
Strong delegation skills and proficiency getting work done through others
Track record of building strong client relationships and influencing planning and execution decisions
Demonstrated experience designing and selling executional vision
Ability to lead difficult conversations with positive outcomes
Proven track record producing measurable business results against organizational goals
Ability to influence organizational culture and operations beyond own team
Experience managing multiple projects, reports, and clients simultaneously under pressure
Post-secondary degree from an accredited institution, ideally in Business, Communications, or Marketing
Integrated agency experience is mandatory
Experiential marketing (XM) experience is a bonus
