About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the Order Management Process while adhering to HACCP, local, and state food safety practices
  • Receive orders, disseminate information, communicate required actions, and create shopping and production sheets
  • Communicate directly with customers, the local kitchen team, and Guest Services team
  • Prioritize orders and ensure quality assurance, order completeness, appropriate packaging and labeling, and delivery timing
  • Verify food quality and specifications against kitchen-issued specifications in the software system
  • Use Shipday for order logistics, deliveries, delivery photos, and recipient information
  • Serve customers by phone, email, and in person as applicable, and obtain product and service feedback
  • Relay feedback and suggestions to the Catering Director or General Manager
  • Act as the central kitchen quality and accuracy captain and on-site problem solver
  • Resolve customer quality, satisfaction, safety, and cost issues according to company procedures
  • Pick up supplies and perform routine vehicle cleaning and maintenance as needed
  • Maintain food quality control and food-safety procedures during delivery
  • Follow professional dress and company uniform guidelines
  • Assemble silverware units, stock kitchen items, maintain shopping lists at least three days in advance, and maintain the shopping shelf
  • Meet weekly with the General Manager regarding ACW standards and procedures
  • Safely operate company vehicles and comply with local and federal laws
  • Cross-train to prepare or produce food in the kitchen or drive when needed
  • Perform other duties assigned by the General Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma is required
  • Previous face-to-face customer service experience in the aviation, food services, or hospitality industry is essential
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Proficient in email, Internet use, and basic office software programs
  • FDA Regulations and safe food handling required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Clear driving record / reasonably clean driving record required
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
  • Ability to travel in accordance with the current ACW Travel Policy
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to apply good judgment and carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
  • Must complete background check, MVR, drug test, and E-Verify
  • Prior knowledge of aviation terminology preferred
  • Prior hospitality/food expeditor and delivery experience preferred
