About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support tasks and activities across the full employment lifecycle
  • Administer job requisitions, including manager intake, review, posting, updating, and closing
  • Manage onboarding screening, including background checks, drug screening, and driving record checks
  • Generate, send, and track job offer letter signatures
  • Partner with hiring managers on start dates, IT onboarding, new hire paperwork, and first-day readiness
  • Own Form I-9 requirements, E-Verify, documentation review, and compliance
  • Process employment status changes, promotions, job changes, and employment verification requests
  • Support benefits enrollment, Open Enrollment, leave of absence, and accommodation processes
  • Contribute to internal newsletters and support employee engagement and wellness initiatives
  • Prepare training materials, schedule training, and track attendance with HR Business Partners
  • Oversee in-office events and engagement initiatives
  • Own the ACW side of the HRIS, including security, departments, job titles, locations, and password resets
  • Maintain employment data, HR files, benefits files, Workers' Compensation files, and I-9 files
  • Coordinate post-accident drug testing and review driving records
  • Monitor minimum wage changes and support wage updates
  • Maintain HRIS information for OSHA reporting
  • Assist with audits and insurance renewals
  • Ensure labor law posters remain compliant across company locations
  • Generate offboarding paperwork, notify IT, and liaise with payroll
  • Provide HR customer service to employees
  • Identify process improvements, system enhancements, and maintain process documentation
  • Contribute to annual and special projects, including performance reviews, base pay adjustments, bonus programs, and audits

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management or related field or equivalent education, training and experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources
  • Multi-state Human Resources experience
  • HR-related experience with a large hourly employee population
  • HR-related experience in the hospitality sector, such as food services, hotels, or country clubs
  • Verbal and written fluency in Spanish is required
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to present information and work with individuals at all organizational levels
  • Knowledge of current federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work while managing multiple priorities
  • Ability to exercise discretion, confidentiality, and good judgment in interpreting and applying policies
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote
  • Proficient in ADP Workforce Now
