About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct exploratory data analysis on short-term rental pricing and occupancy datasets to identify patterns, trends, and outliers
Collaborate with domain experts to understand factors influencing pricing and occupancy dynamics
Analyze predictive models to predict short-term rental market behavior
Collaborate with data engineering teams to integrate new data sources and ensure data quality for modeling
Work with product managers, engineers, and business analysts to implement pricing strategies based on data-driven insights
Communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Implement monitoring systems to track model performance and identify issues or deviations
Regularly analyze models to adapt to changing market conditions and business requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need

1+ years of professional experience working with data, focused on software development and advanced analytics
Full proficiency in English, verbal and written
Proficiency with SQL and Python, including pandas, datetime, numpy, dictionaries, and packages
Experience with large datasets in distributed systems such as Snowflake
Excellent communication skills, data-driven thinking, critical thinking, and attention to detail
Flexibility, time management, and a learning mindset
Comfortable working with data validation, models, and architecture
Exposure to designing, developing, and deploying software solutions powered by data science and analytics
Experience with Python data manipulation and analysis libraries such as Pandas, Scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch, or TensorFlow
