About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the central driving force of the Central Division Strategy Department
- Lead strategic project management and capture business efficiencies
- Track division-wide strategic KPIs
- Guide efficiency and expense analysis initiatives to address operational waste
- Capture cross-functional savings
- Steward the end-to-end design, delivery, and governance of executive reports and dashboards
- Facilitate strategic transformation projects across cross-functional teams and support milestone completion and deadlines
- Identify operational bottlenecks and partner with department leaders to remove friction
- Identify, quantify, and resolve operational waste, including freight inefficiencies, redundant costs, and rogue spend
- Develop and execute cross-functional savings plans
- Support alignment of purchasing best practices, including PCards, requisitions, and blanket POs
- Design and maintain executive-level performance dashboards
- Establish standard reporting definitions and delivery cadences across the division
- Build and maintain matrixed relationships with divisional, regional, and corporate leadership across operations, finance, sales, and other functions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in performance management, PMO, operational analytics, finance, business operations, or management consulting
- Experience delivering digital transformation and/or complex BI initiatives within a decentralized, multi-site environment
- Strong understanding of BI architecture, Power BI, data modeling, data lifecycle management, and Google Business Suite
- Familiarity with coding languages
- Advanced financial and operational literacy
- Proven track record of identifying, targeting, and capturing operating expense savings
- Demonstrated communication and presentation skills, including distilling complex operational data into clear strategic narratives for groups and executive leadership
- Experience in project management and organizational skills
- Innovative, problem-solving mindset capable of challenging the operational status quo
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Valid employment authorization in the U.S.; must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future
- MBA or advanced degree in Data Analytics/Business Intelligence preferred
- PMP certification and/or Industrial Gas or Distribution experience preferred
- Experience with SAP, Gemini, and applied AI/ML in a business context preferred
- Able to talk, hear, walk, sit, use hands, reach, stoop, kneel, or crouch
- Required visual abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, and ability to focus
