About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Jessup, Kingston, Lebanon, Williamsport, and Schuylkill branches
- Assist with day-to-day branch operations and profitability, including sales, budgeting, gross margins, operating expenses, safety, customer service, inventory, equipment, facilities, vehicles, community relations, accounts receivable, and personnel issues
- Operate between multiple branch locations to cover operational gaps such as vacations and training
- Assist with retail store operations, compliance, retail sales, warehousing, and distribution
- Oversee daily branch schedules
- Develop and execute marketing plans with Sales, Operations, and outside vendors
- Coordinate sales promotions, merchandising, and displays
- Collaborate with outside sales to ensure order accuracy and scheduled customer deliveries
- Manage inventory, daily hard-goods cycle counts, showroom, and warehouse appearance
- Manage hard-goods receiving and inter-branch orders
- Monitor SAP reports, including open orders, deliveries, billing and delivery blocks, and purchase orders
- Complete daily cash reconciliation, address errors, and initiate bank deposits
- Coordinate monthly vendor product training sessions
- Oversee retail employee training on operating standards and safety regulations
- Lead annual and bi-annual physical hard-goods inventories
- Manage branch credits and collections with corporate accounts receivable
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED required
- Advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an industrial retail, inside sales, customer service and/or inventory control related position
- One (1) year of prior supervisory experience
- Ability to perform each job duty satisfactorily
- Ability to work Monday through Friday during daytime hours
- Ability to work across multiple branch locations
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities required to manage retail operations, sales, inventory, customer service, safety, and personnel issues
