About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Run Data Enablement and lead analytics engineers and web analytics specialists
Set team priorities, coach team members, and maintain a steady delivery rhythm
Own the semantic layer end-to-end
Design, build, and evolve SQL-based models and metric definitions
Turn raw product and event data into curated, tested, documented datasets
Automate routine data curation with tracking checks and data-quality monitoring
Set modeling, version control, testing, release, and code review standards
Partner with Data Business Partners, Data Science/ML, and Data Platform on scope and ownership
Stay close to the code on critical builds

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years in analytics, data or BI engineering
2+ years leading a team or leading others technically
Expert SQL and Python
Experience with incremental loads, deduplication, and slowly changing dimensions
Experience designing warehouse and mart models, including a semantic layer
Knowledge of star schema, Data Vault, or equivalent methodologies
Experience optimizing and troubleshooting pipelines on cloud stacks such as AWS (Athena, Redshift, Glue)
Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow
Experience setting branching, code review, schema and data testing, CI, and release standards
Experience with data validation, root-cause analysis, and documentation standards
Ability to design solutions for complex problems and build decision-focused dashboards
Experience redesigning workflows around AI tools and evaluating AI outputs for quality, privacy, and bias
Experience owning complex team-level projects and making high-impact decisions
Experience coaching people, identifying skill gaps, and providing regular feedback
Ability to clarify complex ideas, build consensus across teams and time zones, and communicate in fluent English
Experience with dbt or a similar transformation framework, web analytics and tracking (GTM, GA4), or B2B SaaS/document-workflow/e-signature is nice to have
