About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute a strategic sales strategy to expand Eviti within existing payer relationships and close new business with health plans, managed care organizations, and payer services organizations
- Build and maintain relationships with payer stakeholders and senior executives across clinical, operational, quality, analytics, procurement, and related functions
- Uncover customer needs and position Eviti’s clinical decision support and treatment validation solutions
- Lead complex sales engagements from prospecting and discovery through solution development, presentation, negotiation, contracting, and close
- Develop business cases, account strategies, proposals, and pursuit plans demonstrating Eviti’s clinical, operational, and financial value
- Negotiate and close complex enterprise agreements
- Establish credibility with senior and C-suite executives regarding payer priorities, healthcare economics, clinical operations, and market dynamics
- Partner with Clinical, Product, Sales, Client Success, and executive leadership teams on customer-specific strategies and deal activities
- Manage pipeline development, prospecting, outreach, CRM activity, forecasting, meeting preparation, and internal coordination
- Provide market intelligence, customer feedback, and payer insights to inform sales strategy, solution positioning, product development, and innovation
- Maintain knowledge of healthcare payer trends, oncology, specialty care, healthcare policy, utilization management, and market dynamics
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in business administration (sales), Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive sales or business development experience within healthcare software, SaaS, biopharmaceutical, healthcare technology, or related industries
- Proven success selling to large national and regional payer organizations
- Experience in business development, client development, strategic partnerships, account growth, or enterprise sales
- Direct experience engaging payer clinical, medical management, utilization management, and operational stakeholders
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals and delivering measurable results
- Experience selling SaaS, healthcare technology, clinical decision support, or related payer-market solutions
- Strong understanding of payer priorities, oncology and specialty care, cost management, evidence-based care, utilization management, medical necessity review, provider experience, member access, and value-based care
- Ability to build strategic relationships with director-, senior director-, and executive-level payer stakeholders
- Ability to manage complex enterprise-level sales cycles from prospecting through closing
- Highly self-directed; able to manage multiple opportunities with limited day-to-day supervision
- Proficient in CRM tools and pipeline management
- Strong commercial judgment, communication, organization, presentation, collaboration, curiosity, and follow-through skills
