About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the ICP and continuously conduct customer interviews and win/loss conversations
  • Participate in sales calls and turn customer insights into messaging and product feedback
  • Own positioning, messaging, and the core narrative for T:0
  • Maintain consistent messaging across the website, sales deck, launches, and content
  • Write and own website copy for every page
  • Create product walkthroughs, explainers, demo videos, and launch assets
  • Run product launches, including narrative, assets, internal enablement, timing, and performance assessment
  • Own blog and SEO content strategy, briefs, and key content pieces
  • Write the T:0 newsletter
  • Maintain competitive intelligence and create usable comparison materials for sales
  • Build sales enablement materials including one-pagers, objection handling, battlecards, and demo narratives
  • Own pricing and packaging with the CEO and Product team
  • Collect customer proof including quotes, reviews, case studies, and logos
  • Work directly with the CEO, Product teams, Chief of Staff, Growth Marketer, and Founding GTM hire

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years in product marketing, or an adjacent role where you personally owned positioning and shipped the resulting assets
  • Exceptional writing ability; writing samples and a short written exercise required
  • Track record of high output and velocity
  • Experience conducting customer research and applying insights to messaging
  • Ability to understand and work deeply with technical products
  • Ability to operate independently without a predefined brief or prioritized queue
  • Fintech, accounting, or founder-finance-stack experience (preferred)
  • Experience as the first or only product marketer (preferred)
  • Comfortable recording and lightly editing product videos (preferred)
  • Aggressive use of AI tools for research, drafting, competitive monitoring, and content iteration (preferred)
  • Experience marketing to founders and early-stage operators (preferred)
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer
