About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead Airwallex’s expansion and product localization in Brazil
- Orchestrate cross-functional launches of treasury, payment network, payment acquiring, issuing, and spend management products in compliance with Brazilian regulations
- Coordinate integration with central bank financial infrastructure, including PIX and other key systems, plus local banks, PSPs, and fintech networks
- Represent Brazilian customers and partner with global Engineering and Product teams to define, prioritize, and deliver localized features
- Monitor performance and iterate using market feedback, usage data, and competitive benchmarks
- Inform the LATAM product roadmap and strategy through analysis of local developments, trends, target markets, and competition
- Collaborate with regulators, external partners, Product, Engineering, Commercial, Legal & Compliance, and Operations teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of professional experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Hands-on experience with wallet, payments acquiring or issuing products
- Strong project management skills to align technical and non-technical stakeholders and coordinate multiple complex workstreams
- Bachelor’s degree or above in a technical field, including engineering or computer science coursework, with a competitive GPA
- Fluency in English and Portuguese
- Preferred: strong ownership mindset and execution skills
- Preferred: 2–3 years of direct product management experience in a fintech company
- Preferred: working knowledge of digital wallets, card networks, card issuance, and payment infrastructure
- Preferred: solid technical understanding and ability to engage in architectural discussions with engineering teams
- Preferred: excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Preferred: experience working in cross-cultural and cross-functional teams
