About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own technical pre-sales for complex client engagements involving global payments and financial products
Translate business requirements into solution designs and actionable implementation plans
Orchestrate cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to deliver on time, within scope, and to a high quality bar
Serve as a trusted technical advisor for customers and internal teams
Shape integration approaches, system configuration, and overall solution design
Partner with implementation and account management teams to create scalable architectures
Conduct technical discovery with sales teams and recommend integration blueprints using APIs and third-party connectors
Troubleshoot integration hurdles and guide customers through complex configuration decisions
Create internal documentation, playbooks, and lightweight tooling
Channel customer feedback to Product and Engineering to influence roadmap priorities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g. Business, Finance, Engineering, Information Systems) or equivalent practical experience
10+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, managing complex, multi-stakeholder technology or financial services implementations
10+ years of client-facing delivery or professional services experience in a high-paced environment
Proven track record delivering cross-functional projects with C-level executives, technical teams, and operations stakeholders
Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Hands-on experience working on API-based payments integrations/products
Experience managing strategic or enterprise engagements
Ability to navigate ambiguous, fast-moving environments
Authorization to work in the United States
Ability to attend the San Francisco office 3 days per week
