About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Close inbound requests from leads with 1–5 employees, independent workers, very small companies, and individuals
- Manage the entire sales cycle from qualification to closing
- Educate prospects and provide compelling arguments to convert them into customers
- Apply Alan’s Smart & Soft selling method
- Make the prospect experience pleasant, instructive, and delightful using relevant messaging and materials
- Define the appropriate high-touch strategy for each prospect
- Contribute to tooling and process improvements for the Inbound Sales team
- Build a playbook of best practices for closing deals in one shot
- Share product feedback and improve the self-serve member experience
- Develop expertise in insurance products and answer prospect questions and objections
- Contribute to sales practice transformation through AI
- Challenge and improve products, methods, and strategy
- Participate in projects and initiatives that grow the customer base
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1–2 years of experience in a Sales role including closing experience
- Full working proficiency in French (C2 and above)
- Advanced level in English
- Highly organized with exceptional follow-up skills
- Balance between active listening and assertiveness
- Natural empathy and passion for understanding and solving prospects’ problems
- Positive attitude and ability to collaborate in a small team
- Desire to learn fast and make an impact from day one
- Based in or willing to relocate to Paris, Bordeaux, Marseille, Lyon, Annecy, Nantes or Biarritz
- Insurance-related qualifications may include a Master degree (Master II, BAC+5 or higher), a Bachelor degree (Licence, BAC+3/4) in Business/Finance/Insurance, or no qualification with customized initial training offered
- Hiring targeted within the A2–B1 level range
