About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide administrative support to the Circuit Court
  • Perform filing, data entry, and record keeping
  • Handle recordings and Concealed Handgun Applications in the land records section
  • Collect information
  • Perform routine administrative assignments
  • Track exhibits and court cases in the courtroom
  • Answer routine correspondence for the supervisor

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of clerical experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Preferred: Experience working in a court or legal setting
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred but not required
  • Must maintain residence within the Commonwealth of Virginia
  • Frequent operation of a variety of office machines
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and light lifting
