About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform routine and advanced microbiological analysis of raw materials, finished goods, packaging components, and complaint/investigation samples
  • Conduct environmental monitoring while maintaining aseptic practices
  • Collect and analyze environmental and utility samples
  • Record, calculate, interpret, and report microbiological test results
  • Support product and process validation, product release, and regulatory compliance
  • Own and revise SOPs and ATPs
  • Execute investigative testing and support laboratory investigations
  • Perform peer review of data
  • Train team members on microbiological methods and laboratory practices
  • Ensure GDP, GMP, and GxP-compliant documentation
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support manufacturing and integrate laboratory results
  • Use LIMS, TrackWise, and Metasys

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience
  • Alternative qualification: high school plus 8 years of experience, or associate degree plus 4 years of experience
  • Fluency in reading, writing, understanding, and communicating in English
  • Degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field preferred
  • Working knowledge of GDP and GMP principles
  • Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST, with occasional off-shift support
  • 0% travel requirement
  • Must work onsite in Fort Worth, Texas
  • Sponsorship is not available
