About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage individual technical projects, applying specialized knowledge to achieve objectives and drive innovation
- Execute projects across multiple Surgical manufacturing sites
- Design, develop, and implement new or revised production processes for efficient and economical mass production
- Arrange manufacturing equipment for optimal layout and productivity
- Design the sequence of production operations
- Specify procedures for tool and equipment fabrication
- Adapt machinery in response to factory conditions
- Support identification and qualification of alternate source components
- Ensure production processes and procedures comply with GxP regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation, ensure quality control, and complete required training
- Identify and execute opportunities to improve technical project execution
- Support team performance and operational efficiency through project management, technical expertise, and problem-solving
- Contribute to continuous improvement and overall organizational compliance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs; Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2 yrs; PhD+0 yrs)
- Fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
- 5 Years of Relevant Experience
- Willingness to travel up to 20%
- Degree in Engineering preferred; Plastics or Mechanical Engineering strongly preferred, but other disciplines considered
- Cross-location project management experience preferred
- Experience in new process development and product technology transfer preferred
- EOL component replacement and qualification experience preferred
- Industry experience in medical device manufacturing or other regulated environments preferred
