Account Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and nurture lasting relationships with physicians, providers, and healthcare system executives
- Support and enhance financial and quality performance across performance metrics
- Own account relationships across financial performance, quality management, clinical management, population health, care management training, HEDIS and STARs performance, and operational enhancements
- Use data analytics tools to monitor and communicate practice performance against key objectives and strategic plans
- Develop project plans to achieve key organizational objectives
- Assist in training office staff, physicians, and providers on processes and technologies
- Assess practice and staff training needs
- Communicate contract goals and current performance at organizational, site, and provider levels
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to develop executive-facing presentations and memos
- Present practice performance, financial outcomes/projections, and contract terms to external executives
- Advise central leadership by surfacing root causes affecting practice performance
- Take on additional duties as organizational needs and priorities evolve
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5 years of experience with executive level communication - written and verbal
- Demonstrated knowledge of value based care contracts across all patient types
- Minimum 6-8 years of experience with relevant competencies including practice management, project management, account management, analytical problem solving, and strategic insight using healthcare analytical skills
- Ability to be at an onsite location anticipated 3-4 days a week in Shreveport, Louisiana (subject to practice needs)
- Graduate of an accredited college or university in nursing, social work, health technology or information technology-related programs (preferred)
- 8 years of significant and relevant work experience in medical practice management in lieu of educational requirements may be accepted
- Significant administrative experience in a clinic setting
- Excellent organizational, project management, and team-building skills
- Familiarity with process mapping and work-flow analysis tools
- Advanced PowerPoint/slides, Excel/sheets, and other data visualization skills
- Willingness to learn additional software applications
- Ability to complete approximately 20–25% annual regional travel for multi-day visits to partner sites across Northern California and the Seattle, WA area
