HR Partner
Alfa Laval. Manage recruitment and onboarding across Italy for blue-collar employees, contingent workers, consultants and temporary staff.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage recruitment and onboarding across Italy for blue-collar employees, contingent workers, consultants and temporary staff.
- Manage relationships with temporary work agencies, including sourcing, contracting, service-quality follow-up and cost control.
- Advise managers and supervisors on labor relations and basic legal aspects, in coordination with the local HR Business Partner and shared service center.
- Manage HR administration and the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.
- Deliver compliant, efficient and business-focused daily HR support.
- Drive continuous improvement of HR processes by simplifying workflows, increasing efficiency and optimizing costs.
- Collaborate with HR teams across countries to share best practices, harmonize processes and leverage synergies.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition on Employer Branding initiatives.
- Support managers with staffing needs, recruitment and contingent workforce planning.
- Travel frequently to other Italian locations.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in an HR generalist or HR administration role, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Good working knowledge of Italian labor law and national collective agreements (CCNL, ideally Metalmeccanico).
- Hands-on experience in recruitment and onboarding, including blue-collar and contingent workforce populations.
- Practical experience of working with temporary work agencies and managing contingent staffing needs.
- A service-minded and approachable style, with reliability as a first point of contact for managers and employees on day-to-day HR matters.
- A structured, process-oriented mindset, with interest in simplification and digitalization.
- Comfort working with HR systems and data (HRIS, ATS, Excel).
- Fluent Italian and good English, both written and spoken.
- Extensive experience and proficiency with the Office suite.
- Strong integrity, discretion and people orientation.
- Ability to analyze data, organize activities by priority and work independently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a cooperative, team-oriented attitude.
- Proactive and strategic approach to problem-solving, focused on continuous improvement.
- Orientation toward achieving goals and delivering high-quality results.
