Key Account Manager – Wastewater

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive profitable growth and strengthen long-term partnerships with important customers
- Find new opportunities with potential customers in the Nordics
- Act as the go-to person and key enabler within municipal wastewater
- Cover a selected portfolio of strategic industrial wastewater customers across the Nordic region
- Strengthen customer intimacy and rebuild installed-base position
- Drive Capital Sales and Aftersales growth
- Own relationships with utilities, consultants, integrators, and selected industrial customers
- Coordinate testing activities and drive market development
- Conduct market and customer analysis and mapping to define business potential and opportunities
- Analyze accounts and define sales strategy and relationship management plans
- Develop a 2–4 year KAM plan by segmenting and prioritizing customers
- Develop, implement, and follow up on local sales activities to meet growth targets
- Plan customer contacts and follow up systematically on all relevant KAM sales-process steps
- Coordinate internally with business units and sales managers to align customer and market strategies
- Travel approximately 60 days per year and visit customers near the home location
- Collaborate across a team of five and report to the Market Area Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- A few years of relevant experience in wastewater, technical B2B sales, key account management, or business development
- Wastewater expertise and experience with consultancies, integrators, or contractors
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills
- Practical CRM experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, environmental technology, water technology, chemistry, business, or a related field is preferred
- Equivalent industry experience and documented commercial results may substitute for formal education
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, in addition to a Nordic language
- Driving licence
- Experience with sludge treatment, dewatering, separation technologies, public tenders, and/or municipal procurement
