About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage selected capital and aftersales orders from execution through customer handover, including delivery and commissioning of Alfa Laval equipment
- Review customer purchase orders and company offers for gaps or non-compliance
- Serve as the primary customer contact and support local management in achieving quality, time and cost goals
- Coordinate factories and customers to obtain and negotiate technical documentation according to project specifications
- Coordinate manufacturing inspection points between factories and customers
- Conduct regular factory and customer meetings to follow up and expedite order progress
- Update local management on project status, including delays, technical disputes and payments
- Liaise with customers, order fulfilment, sales, logistics, factories and E&S teams to complete projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- A degree in Engineering, technical diploma or equivalent work experience
- PMP Certification would be considered an asset
- 3-5 years of experience dealing with projects involving the delivery of industrial equipment
- Technically well-versed in the design and application of decanters, heat exchangers, centrifuges and pumps
- Ability to identify design issues and understand customer complaints to seek appropriate solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Knowledge of contract management, the order-to-cash value stream, and document control
