About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using C# and .NET 6+, ensuring performance, security, and availability
Participate in software architecture decisions by evaluating technical trade-offs and proposing scalable, sustainable solutions
Evolve application architecture using Clean Architecture, practical DDD, and layered architecture
Develop and optimize persistence with Entity Framework Core, including data modeling, migrations, and performance optimization
Work with relational databases, SQL Server or equivalent, ensuring efficient queries, appropriate indexes, and transactional integrity
Implement and maintain automated unit and integration tests
Contribute to best practices such as SOLID, Clean Code, and design patterns
Conduct code reviews
Support less experienced developers and share knowledge
Contribute to observability, logging, metrics, and production monitoring
Collaborate with product and technology teams on the continuous evolution of solutions
Design and implement integrations using messaging and asynchronous communication, such as RabbitMQ or similar technologies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid experience with C# and .NET, preferably .NET 6 or later
Experience developing REST APIs
Experience with Entity Framework Core and relational databases, SQL Server or equivalent
Experience with software engineering best practices, including SOLID and Clean Code
Experience with Git and collaborative version control workflows
Experience with unit testing
Preferred: experience with Clean Architecture and DDD
Preferred: experience with Docker and application containerization
Preferred: experience with messaging and asynchronous communication, such as RabbitMQ or similar technologies
Preferred: experience with Azure cloud services and CI/CD pipelines, including Azure DevOps
Preferred: experience with observability, metrics, and monitoring applications in production
Preferred: experience with distributed, highly available, or high-scale systems
Preferred: experience handling PDF files
