About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the entire procurement process for next-generation infrastructure ranging from nanofabrication to cryogenics
- Collaborate with Experiments and Engineering teams
- Partner with internal teams to define needs and identify solutions for infrastructure projects
- Negotiate with suppliers to meet budget and timeline goals while supporting technical innovation
- Build and strengthen relationships with key suppliers
- Expand the supplier network
- Develop and improve procurement processes within an agile, rapidly evolving organization
- Monitor the market for trends and advanced, cost-effective solutions
- Work closely with the Procurement Manager and cross-functional teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of purchasing experience in an industrial or technological field
- Experience purchasing control electronics and RF/microwave test & measurement equipment is a strong plus
- Experience in aerospace & defense, telecommunications, or semiconductor test environments is a strong plus
- Deep knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques, especially within highly technical sectors
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence and manage stakeholders at various levels
- Strong organization and structure; ability to balance multiple projects, maintain clear communication, and attend to details
- Proactive, autonomous work style and ability to challenge and be challenged
- Fluency in French and English, spoken and written
