About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the single point of accountability for end-to-end Defined Contribution service delivery
Own client satisfaction, operational health, financial performance, risk management, governance, oversight, and continuous improvement
Build and sustain relationships with clients, advisors, consultants, partners, and strategy teams
Act as a trusted advisor using industry best practices, benchmarking, prevalence data, analytics, and insights
Lead client relationship, stewardship, governance, oversight, executive, operational, investment, and committee meetings
Coordinate delivery across solutions, teams, and partners, including Alight US and Alight India
Ensure services meet contractual commitments, scope, service levels, and quality standards
Establish governance routines, monitor operational health, and resolve risks and issues
Identify, assess, mitigate, and escalate operational, financial, and compliance risks
Monitor legislative and regulatory developments affecting Defined Contribution plans and advise clients
Drive profitability, operational health, client satisfaction, regulatory readiness, and adoption of releases, technologies, and best practices
Manage financial forecasting, contracts, margins, service levels, and Error & Omissions discussions or negotiations
Support client renewals with the Portfolio Leader
Develop, lead, and retain global Defined Contribution talent, including staffing, succession planning, team structure, and talent development
Set account goals, align delivery teams, and track progress
Participate in prospective client presentations and sales efforts
Serve as a subject matter expert on Defined Contribution products, services, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of experience in Defined Contributions and a client-facing environment
Positive change agent internally and externally, leading with influence and credibility
Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills
Ability to simplify complex topics and translate strategy into clear vision, direction, and actionable outcomes
Creative, innovative problem-solving skills
Highly collaborative and able to build partnerships across the organization
Servant leadership, empathy, accountability, and focus on enabling team success
Client-focused mindset
Strong organization and execution skills
Ability to lead effectively through change and align colleagues toward common goals
Effective people leadership and team-building capabilities
Current knowledge of emerging technologies, including AI standards and best practices
Experience working within a global, virtual operating model and leading distributed teams across geographies
Work authorization in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
Successful completion of a background check and position-specific checks
