About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead complex implementation projects by independently configuring, customizing, and validating Alkami Digital Banking products and third-party integrations across diverse client environments
Analyze and resolve advanced technical implementation issues through root-cause analysis and evaluation of system behaviors
Serve as the primary technical resource for assigned implementation engagements
Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, vendors, and customer stakeholders
Design and execute implementation validation activities, testing strategies, and troubleshooting
Support complex third-party integrations and coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders
Recommend implementation solutions aligned with client needs, operational best practices, and platform capabilities
Develop and maintain configuration records, troubleshooting procedures, technical runbooks, and knowledge-sharing materials
Identify implementation process inefficiencies and recommend workflow, tooling, or support improvements
Mentor and provide technical guidance to less experienced implementation engineers
Facilitate technical discussions and translate complex concepts into actionable recommendations
Manage multiple complex implementation priorities across concurrent engagements
Support post-go-live stabilization, escalated issue resolution, and client adoption
Contribute implementation feedback and platform enhancement opportunities to product and engineering teams
Adapt implementation methodologies to unique client environments and evolving business requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need

3–6 years of experience leading software implementations, technical consulting engagements, systems integrations, or complex client onboarding initiatives within SaaS, fintech, banking technology, or related technical environments
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Technology, or a related field
Advanced experience configuring and implementing SaaS platforms or digital banking solutions
Proficiency with programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript
Experience with relational databases (MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, Postgres)
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills across integrations, configurations, and platform functionality
Ability to independently manage complex technical implementation projects and priorities
Experience collaborating with cross-functional technical and business stakeholders
Strong understanding of APIs, system integrations, and technical implementation methodologies
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
Experience developing technical documentation, implementation procedures, and operational best practices
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills in fast-paced client environments
Candidates must be eligible to work in the US for full-time employment
Preferred: Experience supporting fintech, digital banking, or financial services technology implementations
Preferred: Knowledge of scripting or technical automation concepts
Preferred: Experience working with third-party vendors and external integration partners
Preferred: Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies and software development lifecycle processes
Preferred: Experience mentoring or guiding junior technical team members
Preferred: Experience contributing to process improvement or implementation scalability initiatives
