About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using ASP.NET C# MVC and modern front-end frameworks
  • Develop and enhance application or enterprise search capabilities, including ElasticSearch/AWS OpenSearch integration
  • Build and maintain decoupled application components leveraging message queuing
  • Develop responsive user interfaces using React.js or Angular
  • Support application integration with large-scale data stores and enterprise data warehouse environments
  • Participate in Agile development, including sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous delivery
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and document application performance and reliability
  • Support the US Drug Enforcement Agency enterprise data management program and applications serving approximately 12,000 users

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years of software and web development experience
  • 5+ years of ASP.NET C# MVC web development using Visual Studio 2019 or higher
  • 5+ years of Agile development methodologies
  • Experience with application or enterprise search
  • Experience with decoupled application development leveraging message queuing
  • 2+ years of React.js or Angular experience
  • 1+ years of ASP.NET Core experience using Visual Studio 2019 or higher
  • Experience developing against cloud-hosted, high-availability search clusters
  • Experience supporting federal or mission-critical enterprise applications
  • Bachelor’s degree in data science or a related quantitative field, or equivalent experience in lieu of education
  • Active secret clearance required
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen
  • Subject to random drug screens throughout employment
  • Ability to remain stationary 75% of the time
  • Ability to work indoor conditions 90% of the time
  • Ability to frequently move standard office equipment up to 25 pounds
