About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Stand up and run the cloud hosting environment for a maintenance management platform
  • Configure the approved hosting environment, network boundary and connection path
  • Maintain hardening baselines
  • Automate deployments and environment builds
  • Maintain software, dependency and vulnerability inventories
  • Run monitoring, alerting, patch testing and incident response with the Cybersecurity / RMF Lead
  • Implement and test backup and restoration, demonstrating successful restores
  • Manage technician tablets through Microsoft Intune, including enrollment, remote lock and wipe, role-based downloads and spare pool
  • Support sensor gateway and building automation network segmentation with the Low-Voltage / IoT Technician
  • Enforce least-privilege administrative access and regularly review privileged accounts
  • Follow change management processes, including approval, testing and rollback plans
  • Support ITIL-aligned incident and problem management, including root-cause analysis and runbook updates
  • Support platform integration
  • Travel periodically to Fort Campbell, Kentucky, for system installation and support

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6+ years of systems or cloud engineering experience
  • 2+ years operating workloads in Azure Government or another DoD IL4/IL5 environment
  • Experience operating a production environment subject to RMF/ATO controls
  • Scripting and automation experience with PowerShell, Python, Bicep or Terraform
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
  • CompTIA Security+ (DoD 8140 IAT Level II) required for privileged access
  • Must be able to pass a background check and obtain installation access
  • Azure Administrator or Azure Solutions Architect certification preferred
  • Infrastructure as code preferred
  • Intune/MDM for rugged tablets preferred
  • Backup and disaster recovery testing preferred
  • Monitoring and log management preferred
  • Experience applying DISA STIGs or CIS benchmarks preferred
  • ITIL Foundation certification preferred
  • Experience working on Department of Defense installations, contracts or programs is a plus
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lb
  • Must participate in an on-call rotation for platform outages
  • Typical availability is Monday through Friday during daytime hours
  • No security clearance required
