About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive measurable growth for Stanley Access Technologies within the assigned territory
- Collaborate with SAT, Regional Sales Offices, Allegion Business Units, distributors, and channel partners
- Cultivate new specification, sole-source, healthcare, aftermarket, and procurement-program opportunities
- Drive engagement of local sales teams through joint calls, project tracking meetings, market meetings, and account planning
- Partner with operations, marketing, product, legal, and finance teams on go-to-market strategies
- Promote Allegion solutions through coordinated selling activities with local sales offices and brand champions
- Identify and pursue opportunities with architects, end users, distribution partners, and national GPO systems
- Conduct prospecting and outreach, including AIA CEU presentations, product introductions, project meetings, tradeshows, and industry events
- Qualify leads, manage the sales pipeline, and collaborate to increase close rates
- Provide product application guidance and design support for construction, retrofit/aftermarket, and service opportunities
- Track market conditions, competitor activities, and trends to adjust sales tactics
- Translate company goals into actionable sales plans
- Close complex deals and manage high-stakes contract negotiations
- Manage forecasting, planning, budgeting, and Salesforce.com reporting
- Report performance metrics to senior leadership
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school education required
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field strongly preferred
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience, including 5+ years in business development or related roles
- Experience in automatic doors, access control, architectural or building products industries strongly preferred
- Demonstrated success influencing cross-functional teams to close complex sales
- Strong organizational skills, bias for action, and ability to execute strategic plans
- Experience developing healthcare relationships and coordinating multi-stakeholder selling activities
- Knowledge of mechanical and electronic solutions and ability to develop system-level solutions
- Solid understanding of new construction, aftermarket and service business models
- Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and execute account plans
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to learn industry-specific software and CRM tools, including Salesforce.com
- Ability to travel nationally, typically 30–60%
- Legally authorized to be employed in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not intended
