About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive measurable growth for Stanley Access Technologies within the assigned Southwest territory
  • Collaborate with SAT, Regional Sales Offices, Allegion Business Units, distributors, and channel partners
  • Cultivate new specification, sole-source, aftermarket, healthcare, and targeted vertical opportunities
  • Support local sales teams through joint calls, project tracking meetings, market meetings, and account planning
  • Partner with operations, marketing, product, legal, and finance teams on go-to-market strategies
  • Conduct prospecting and outreach through AIA CEU presentations, product introductions, project meetings, tradeshows, and industry events
  • Qualify leads, manage the sales pipeline, and improve close rates
  • Provide product application guidance and design support for construction, retrofit/aftermarket, and service opportunities
  • Track market conditions, competitor activities, and trends to adjust sales tactics
  • Translate company goals into actionable sales plans
  • Negotiate complex deals and high-stakes contracts
  • Manage forecasting, planning, budgeting, and required reporting using Salesforce.com
  • Report performance metrics to senior leadership
  • Achieve specification wins, bookings, forecast targets, and revenue targets
  • Build trusted-advisor relationships with architects, end users, and internal stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school education required
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field strongly preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience, including 5+ years in business development or related roles
  • Experience in automatic doors, access control, architectural or building products industries strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated success influencing cross-functional teams to close complex sales
  • Strong organizational skills, bias for action, and ability to execute strategic plans
  • Experience developing healthcare relationships and coordinating multi-stakeholder selling activities
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electronic solutions and ability to develop system-level solutions
  • Solid understanding of new construction, aftermarket and service business models
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and execute account plans
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to learn industry-specific software and CRM tools, including Salesforce.com
  • Ability to travel nationally, typically 30–60%
  • Must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States
  • Employment visa sponsorship is not intended
