About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in the First Nations Legal Internship Program from Monday, 1 February to Friday, 19 February 2027
- Complete a personalised induction program introducing Allens' people and work
- Join a practice group and work alongside lawyers on real matters
- Develop legal skills and gain insight into Allens' work and clients
- Receive support from a partner performance coach and junior lawyer buddy
- Participate in community and pro bono work
- Learn about committees, interest groups and legal industry career pathways
- Build professional networks and mentor relationships
Requirements
What you’ll need- Identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person
- Be currently enrolled in a university law degree
- Be keen to learn, develop new skills and gain practical workplace experience
- Enjoy building relationships, expanding your professional network and learning from others through mentoring opportunities
