Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide leadership on complex, firm-wide strategic projects
  • Work cross-functionally and apply technical expertise to inform decision-making and implementation
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the financial performance and commercial viability of priority practice groups
  • Develop innovative commercial solutions using knowledge of the firm, industry and market
  • Strengthen collaboration across Corporate Services
  • Support practice group leaders to drive behavioural change improving client experience and financial outcomes
  • Act as a trusted adviser to Practice Group Leaders and Partners
  • Provide commercial and financial insight for strategic and operational decision-making
  • Develop business cases for future investments with senior leaders
  • Use data, technology and commercial insight to improve the quality, speed and impact of decision-making
  • Lead, mentor and coach team members to build capability and deliver strong outcomes across the firm

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Deep commercial finance, FP&A or other analytical experience (transaction services, restructuring etc.), ideally gained in a professional services, legal, consulting or other complex stakeholder environment
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability
  • Ability to translate financial and market insight into practical advice for senior stakeholders
  • Experience leading or contributing to strategic projects
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with partners, practice leaders and Corporate Services teams
  • Track record of leading, coaching or developing others
  • Ability to build capability through direct and indirect leadership
  • Proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • Desire to learn, grow, collaborate and mentor others
  • CA/CPA or equivalent is desirable
