About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end full-stack Generative AI applications for selected Asset Management use cases
- Integrate frontend and backend components to deliver robust and scalable solutions
- Ensure company policies and procedures are followed for AI solutions managed by the team
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and domain experts to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements
- Ideate and co-create solutions with development teams
- Develop prototypes to assess technology readiness and suitability for specific applications
- Transition viable prototypes into production-ready applications and platforms
- Provide technical guidance to the development team where necessary
- Research and share industry trends and technologies to foster AllianzGI innovation and business transformation
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science or related fields
- A minimum of three years’ experience in full stack application development, including delivery of production applications, is required
- Ideally industry experience in Investment Banking/Asset Management
- A minimum of two years’ industry experience in GenAI application development, including deploying and supporting GenAI applications in production
- A minimum of three years’ experience working with agile teams, required
- Proficiency in Python, including experience with libraries and frameworks relevant to GenAI application development, such as FastAPI, LangChain, and Microsoft Agent Framework / Semantic Kernel
- Detailed understanding and hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs), agentic AI, multi-agent system design, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architecture, embedding techniques, prompt engineering, and Model Context Protocol (MCP)
- Experience with LLMOps and evaluating GenAI output quality and reliability
- Experience with AI-assisted software development using coding agents
- Experience with modern web development frameworks and languages, including React, TypeScript, and Node.js, with a background in building and maintaining both front-end and back-end applications
- Experience with production-grade vector databases, such as Azure AI Search, MongoDB, Cosmos DB, pgvector, Chroma, or Milvus
- Experience with relational databases, such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
- Experience with Agile development and DevOps practices using tools such as Harness, GitHub, JFrog, Jira, and Datadog
- Ability to create unit tests and integration tests using common testing frameworks, such as pytest and Playwright
- AI skills: Microsoft CoPilot
- Experience with Databricks is a plus
- Ideally experienced with container technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes, and cloud-native services in Azure
- Ideally knowledge and strong understanding of component-based architecture, state management, and intuitive UX design principles
