About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide timely, accurate, and efficient information and emergency travel assistance to clients in a dynamic, 24/7 environment
  • Open medical cases and work with Case Management and Claims teams to verify information and secure approvals for medical services
  • Facilitate processing of invasive or investigative procedures
  • Provide referrals to medical providers and support cost containment using the provider network
  • Manage billing arrangements with medical providers
  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls to update cases and implement action plans
  • Explain policy coverage and limitations to clients
  • Assist clients with online resources and claim submissions
  • Protect client confidentiality in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act
  • Aid with language translation
  • Use AI, machine learning, data analytics, and cloud-based tools responsibly under data governance, security, and ethical-use standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Post-secondary education
  • Minimum of 6–12 months of experience in a customer service role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional and articulate phone manner
  • Initiative and independent judgment in resolving customer issues
  • Fluency in French (reading, writing, and speaking)
