About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate as part of the In House Business Consulting Unit, a strategic advisory function within Allianz
- Partner closely with senior leaders to address complex strategic, operational, and technology challenges in general insurance
- Provide independent, objective advice and structured problem-solving support
- Enable informed decision-making
- Apply consulting skills across broader insurance contexts beyond a single product or market
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate or postgraduate degree in any discipline
- Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred
- 6+ years of relevant experience, with a significant portion in consulting, business transformation, or an in-house advisory role within financial services or insurance
- Demonstrable experience in General Insurance operations across one or more of motor, property, commercial lines, liability, specialty, or reinsurance
- Ability to apply consulting skills across broader insurance contexts
- Proficiency in structured problem-solving frameworks and consulting methodologies
- Strong financial literacy
- Comfortable with business case modelling and cost-benefit assessment
- Project/programme management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or an equivalent internationally recognised certification
