About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive growth across key accounts, high-potential undersold accounts, and new accounts in the on-premise channel
  • Develop and present pricing and marketing strategies
  • Gather competitive insights and feedback from assigned key and underdeveloped accounts
  • Request wine lists, cocktail menus, and event opportunities
  • Secure brand placement and sales, expand distribution, and achieve brand standards
  • Secure advertising, tie-in sales, new-item presentations, and profitable promotional opportunities
  • Communicate with accounts, suppliers, and co-workers to develop sales and marketing strategies
  • Work with top suppliers on monthly requirements
  • Attend weekly sales meetings
  • Review business monthly, quarterly, and yearly by volume, revenue, advertising, distribution, and other metrics
  • Curate wine lists and cocktail menus
  • Organize events to enhance account engagement and performance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Previous industry experience is required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Numbers aptitude is required
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Accurate order-taking
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness, including follow-up and communications at all levels
  • Organization and ability to set and perform priorities
  • Interpersonal skills, integrity, and innovation
  • Post-offer drug and background check
