About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Hire, train, and mentor staff
- Foster a supportive environment through regular check-ins, team meetings, and performance conversations with staff and clinicians
- Plan staffing and scheduling to support daily operations and patient flow
- Ensure required trainings are completed on time
- Ensure patients are scheduled smoothly and registered correctly
- Address patient questions and concerns
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Manage cleanliness, safety, and equipment maintenance
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices
- Manage inventory and liaise with vendors
- Oversee billing, coding, and banking processes
- Monitor spending and support the financial health of the practice
- Ensure billing and claims are handled quickly and accurately
- Maintain current policies and procedures and ensure they are followed
- Act as liaison with the Home Office (Corporate Office)
- Help maintain a respectful, collaborative, and supportive work culture
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree and 5–7 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience managing teams
- Understanding of HR best practices
- Knowledge of medical billing, coding, and terminology
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Comfortable navigating healthcare laws, ethics, and compliance
- Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems
- Ability to work in a medical office setting, remain on your feet, interact with staff and patients, and occasionally assist with little ones
