About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the UK finance function and provide continuity of leadership
Act as a trusted advisor to the UK Leadership Team, driving accountability and strong commercial decision-making
Deliver management reporting, forecasting, budgeting and financial planning
Oversee month-end reporting, statutory accounts, audits and regulatory compliance
Support commercial decisions through financial analysis, pricing reviews and investment cases
Partner with sales, operations, cafés and supply chain teams to improve business performance
Coach and develop the UK finance team
Support strategic projects, including the transition to the new UK roastery
Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and ways of working
Report to the General Manager Finance - Allpress International
Manage the Financial Controller and Finance Assistant

Requirements

What you’ll need

ACA or ACCA or CA (ICAS) qualification (or equivalent experience)
Significant experience in a senior finance leadership role
Strong commercial acumen and business partnering skills
Experience leading budgets, forecasts and long-term planning processes
Excellent financial analysis and modelling capabilities
Experience managing audits, statutory reporting and financial controls
A collaborative, pragmatic approach and the ability to build credibility quickly
Experience in a fast-paced SME, manufacturing, FMCG, hospitality or food and beverage environment would be highly valued
Availability to work 5 days per week, around 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Occasional early morning or evening calls may be required to collaborate with teams in New Zealand, Australia and Japan
