About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prospect new business opportunities among cafes, grocery stores, and other businesses
- Maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline
- Qualify and convert incoming inquiries
- Represent Allpress and its values to prospective customers
- Visit clients across the South of the UK
- Help clients enhance their coffee offering
- Build rapport with business owners and develop long-term partnerships
- Collaborate with the team to support customer relationships
- Work with the Events and Brand team to generate leads
- Connect with businesses that share Allpress’s passion for quality coffee
- Act as a brand ambassador for Allpress
- Travel extensively across Southern territories
- Report to the Head of Business Development UK
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 2 years of experience working in food and beverage sales
- Self-motivated to seek out and win new business
- Passion for speciality coffee and interest in the barista/cafe market
- Ability to build rapport and bring a strong network of hospitality businesses
- Highly developed communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to navigate challenging conversations
- Comfortable negotiating
- Exceptional organisational skills and ability to multitask
- Ability to travel long distances
- Comfortable driving and full clean driving license
- Good eye for detail
- Love for hospitality and the coffee industry
- Previous sales experience is essential
- Ability to work around 40 hours per week, 5 days per week
- Ability to work Monday to Friday
