About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Investigate and confirm facts of loss for complex automobile accidents
- Determine coverage, liability, and damages
- Adjust and negotiate claims within limits of authority
- Mentor junior employees
- Drive fair and strategic subrogation recoveries
- Handle most aspects of auto claims investigations, including coverage, liability, and damages
- Review, evaluate, and negotiate basic injury claims when applicable
- Identify vehicle body parts and potential property damage
- Identify and meet customer needs using appropriate customer service skills
- Determine subrogation or fraud potential and appropriate handling
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must investigate and confirm facts of loss for complex automobile accidents
- Knowledge of subrogation and claims investigation
- Understanding of insurance policies, the insurance industry, and organizational relationships
- Experience handling auto claims involving coverage, liability, and damages
- Ability to review, evaluate, and negotiate basic injury claims when applicable
- Ability to recognize vehicle body parts and potential property damage
- Customer service skills
- Ability to determine subrogation or fraud potential
- Current active insurance license holders must terminate all existing appointments before onboarding and may not hold outside appointments during employment
- Applicants with a resident producer license must surrender it when instructed by the licensing team
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions when working from home
- Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
