About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Investigate minor to moderately complex auto accidents and prepare summaries
- Conduct recorded statements with claimants, insureds, and witnesses
- Evaluate coverage, liability, and damages
- Negotiate and settle claims according to established best practices and guidelines
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and company standards throughout the claim lifecycle
- Collaborate with internal teams for timely, customer-focused claim handling
- Document claim files with clear notes, summaries, and decision rationale
- Communicate directly with claimants, insureds, and other involved parties
- Resolve claims accurately and timely
Requirements
What you’ll need- Investigate basic and occasionally moderately complex auto claims
- Evaluate coverage, determine liability, and negotiate settlements
- Candidates must possess authorization to work in the United States
- Employer does not sponsor individuals for work visas
- Applicants who currently hold an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments before onboarding and must not hold outside appointments during employment
- Applicants with a resident producer license must formally surrender that license when instructed by the licensing team
- Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions when working from home
- Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
