About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Contribute to the development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of complex Business Intelligence solutions and reports
  • Aggregate data from multiple sources into an efficient data warehouse
  • Design reporting solutions for very large multidimensional databases
  • Translate complex business needs into technical specifications
  • Conduct developer testing and troubleshooting
  • Identify and support improvements to existing BI systems and processes
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
  • Escalate open issues and proactively ask questions in an agile manner
  • Improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Develop standard reports and functional dashboards based on business requirements
  • Partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders to identify business problems
  • Maintain and support data analytics platforms

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft Power BI
  • Hands-on experience building Lakehouses, pipeline activities, reports, and dashboards
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server BI stack and/or other BI tools
  • Knowledge of data engineering
  • SQL query performance optimization and development
  • Data transformation
  • Data modeling
  • BI and data visualization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
  • 2 or more years of experience (Preferred)
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of the stated education requirements
